SATs:  Taking the SAT Saturday? Be sure to bring your registration ticket, photo ID, Number 2 pencil and a calculator with fresh batteries. If you do not have your registration and photo ID we can not let you take the test! Get a good night’s sleep and don’t forget to eat breakfast. Bring a snack and drink – it’s a long test! Also remember DO NOT take out your cell phone at any time during the test, even on breaks. Better yet leave it at home. Get to the test center no later than 7:45am.

Bus news:  On Tuesday, October 4, there will be no late activities bus available from Hatboro-Horsham School District.

NHS tutoring is offered every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoon from 2:20 until 3:00 in room 211 (directly across the hall from the Learning Commons).  Students wishing to attend need to go to the Academic Office (Room 230), find the NHS Tutoring binder, and sign up by 11:00a.m. on those days.

Guidance: This week we will have representatives from the following colleges in the cafeteria during lunches:  Delaware Valley University, Pennsylvania College of Technology, Rosemont College, La Salle University, University of the Sciences.

Seniors – if you are planning on applying to Seton Hall University, please see your Counselor for the application fee waiver code.

Bowling – Anyone interested in joining the Bowling team should come to a very brief meeting in room 319 today at 2:20 pm. If you are interested but can not attend, please see Mr Webb before the end of the day today.

Math Tutoring:  Throughout the school year, Mr. Beard will once again be offering his math tutoring services every Tuesday and Wednesday during lunch beginning on Tuesday, September 27 in the Learning Commons.  You must sign up in the cafeteria PRIOR to going to tutoring.

 Attention all Wood freshman, sophomore, & junior Soccer players. Did either of your parents or grandparents graduate from Cardinal Dougherty High School? If so, you are eligible for a $500 scholarship! An essay is due by October 1. Stop by the Guidance Office or Counseling Center for more information.

Attention Seniors – If you would like your senior college meeting sooner rather than later be sure to fill out an appointment slip in your counselor’s office.
