Mock Trial is back! Ever picture yourself wowing a judge and jury as a lawyer?  Want to practice your character acting skills?  Why not try out Mock Trial?   Our team competes with other high schools in the area acting out a trial.   Whether you dream of a career in law or you just really enjoy court scenes in movies, Mock Trial could be the fit for you!  Competitions are starting soon and we can always use more members.  If you’re interested, stop by Mr Donovan’s classroom, room 307, and leave your information and to get added to the Google Classroom site.  We’re sure you won’t have an OBJECTION to this great time!

Student Newspaper:  Do you like to write about school events and world news? Give your opinion in editorials? Review plays, movies, video games, and comic books? If so the Viking Voice, the student newspaper, could use you. Come to a meeting in room 308 today after school to find out how you can contribute.

Speech & Debate:  Any Speech and Debate team member who will be attending Saturday’s tournament must attend practice on Thursday immediately after school. Additionally, all Congress members should attend this practice as well.  There will be no practice today.

Mr. Firmani is offering a study group after school every Tuesday from 2:15-2:45 in his classroom. If you feel that you are struggling with American Government then you should consider attending. You do not have to attend every week! Email Mr. Firmani if you have any questions.

NHS tutoring is offered every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoon from 2:20 until 3:00 in room 211 (directly across the hall from the Learning Commons).  Students wishing to attend need to go to the Academic Office (Room 230), find the NHS Tutoring binder, and sign up by 11:00a.m. on those days.

Math Tutoring:  Throughout the school year, Mr. Beard will once again be offering his math tutoring services every Tuesday and Wednesday during lunch in the Learning Commons.  You must sign up in the cafeteria PRIOR to going to tutoring.
