Available Scholarships
Viking Academic Competitive Scholarships
One renewable full tuition scholarship, four renewable partial tuition scholarships, and several nonrenewable partial tuition scholarships. Freshman year academic grants are awarded based on performance in the school’s annual scholarship testing program. Renewal is based on the students continued excellence in academic achievement. Students must be registered to attend Archbishop Wood to be eligible to sit for the scholarship testing.
Viking Alumni Competitive Scholarships
A variety of competitive scholarships are available through the generosity of alumni and friends of Archbishop Wood High School. A complete listing of available awards along with eligibility requirements and application are available on the school’s web site or from our Alumni Office.
Neumann Scholars Program
These are four year full tuition scholarships awarded to entering ninth graders based on the results of an Archdiocesan-wide scholarship testing program. The program is sponsored by and funded through the generosity of the Connelly Foundation. Participation is handled through the parish elementary schools and awards are made on a Vicariate basis.
Sullivan Scholars Program
This is a four year scholarship meeting 80% of the Archdiocesan tuition cost and is awarded to an entering ninth grader. The selection is made by Archbishop Wood High School. Application is made through the President’s Office. Candidates must take the school’s scholarship test and file financial documentation, letters of recommendation, and transcript of academic work and be interviewed. This program is funded through the generosity of the Sullivan Foundation.
