Seniors: Final Assessments for Seniors will take place between May 18 and May 24. Please note the following: In Class Assessments for electives on May 18 and May 21. Full Days of class on these days. Tuesday May 22 and Thursday May 24 are special schedules with dismissal after period 2. Wednesday, May 23 is a full day for seniors. The ELA (English) Assessment must be taken online. Seniors will take this assessment in their regularly scheduled ELA class. Tuesday, May 29 will be the make-up day for seniors who miss an assessment.
Underclasses: Final Assessments for freshmen, sophomores and juniors will begin on June 1 and conclude on June 8. All ELA (English) and Math assessments must be completed online. Students must know their login and password to access their assessment. Each day will be a full day. A regular schedule will be run each day except on June 8. On June 8 there will be a special assessment schedule followed by special activities. More information to follow. There will be bussing each day as dismissal will be at 2:15pm. June 11 is the make up day for any absence during assessments.
Final Grades: The calculation of the final grades has been changed. The final grade will consist of 45% or the first semester grade, 45% of the second semester grade and 10% of the final assessment. Please take note of this fact and be sure all students take the final assessment seriously as a poor grade can have a negative impact on the final grade. Final Assessments will cover the work of the entire year.

Summer Vocabulary Books
Attention current sophomores and juniors: All current sophomores and juniors have a summer vocabulary assignment for your ELA class. The summer vocabulary books are purchased through the Follett Online Book Store. Go to the Wood web page, the Follett tab is on the bottom left. Free Shipping the week of May 14 only. Don’t miss out on this offer.
Attention Seniors: If you rented your Theology Book from Follett it must be returned on May 24. Also, if you bought your Theology Book and you would like to sell it back, May 24 is the date for the Book Buy Back.

May 16: On Wednesday, May 16th, the Bucks County Commissioners will hold their monthly meeting in the Archbishop Wood Auditorium beginning at 10am. The purpose of holding the Commissioners meeting at Wood is to honor our Championship Girls Basketball Team. A presentation will be made to the Basketball Team at approximately 10:15am. All are welcome for the presentation and for any or all of the Commissioners Meeting. Please enter by the front Auditorium doors.
May 17: May 17 is Ascension Thursday, a Holy Day of Obligation, and a school day for the Archbishop Wood students. This day is a makeup day due to the strike last fall. Mass will be celebrated for the entire school at 8am in the Auditorium. All are welcome.
