Neumann Scholarship Directions – October 1, 2017

Monday, September 25th, 2017

• Please bring two (2) No. 2 pencils with you to the Neumann Scholarship Test.
• Electronic devices such as calculators, cell phones, MP3 players, iPods or PDA’s are prohibited in rooms where the Neumann Scholarship Test will be administered.
• Students should arrive at Archbishop Wood High School at 12:30 PM. The Neumann Scholarship Test begins promptly at 1:00 PM and is scheduled to be completed by 4:00 PM. Students must remain for the entire testing period. Students who arrive late will not be permitted to take the Neumann Scholarship Test.
• NO ALTERNATE NEUMANN SCHOLARSHIP TEST DATES – this is the only date the Neumann Scholarship Test will be administered. No exceptions will be made.
• The Connelly Foundation does not provide Neumann Scholarship Test scores to those who sit for the test.
• Answers to common questions regarding the Neumann Scholarship Test can be found on the Connelly Foundation’s website at

Parent Signature/Current Information and Student Emergency Dismissal Forms are due September 15, 2017.  These forms can be found on the website by going to the Student Services Tab, About Student Services then click on the form.  These forms can be fill out on the website, printed and signed.  Students are to return these forms to their homeroom moderator no later then Friday morning September 15, 2017.

UPDATE-PIAA Sports Cards Pick Up

In order to participate in a sport at Archbishop Wood your child must have a physical.  PIAA forms are on the website under Athletics.  Tuition also must be up to date, June and July tuition must be paid.  Please bring your completed PIAA form to Room 245 to obtain an athletic card between the hours of 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

AP Scholars

Archbishop Wood offers many Advanced Placement Courses.  Students in an Advanced Placement course must sit for an examination in the spring.  Scoring 3, 4, or 5 in the test qualifies students for college credits.

Congratulations to the following students who earned the distinction of AP Scholar, a designation granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams:
