<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Attention Seniors:</span>  Warminster Rotary Club is offering a scholarship to ALL SENIORS.  This scholarship form is due this Friday, February 24.  The applications will be handed out at all lunches today.  PLEASE FILL IN AND RETURN TO YOUR COUNSELOR BY TOMORROW IF POSSIBLE.  Again you will be receiving a Warminster Rotary Club Scholarship form today at your lunch.  <span style="text-decoration: underline;">All Seniors</span> are eligible.  This must be back to school on this Friday the 24th of February.</p>
<p>National Honor Society applications are due back to Mrs. Morton in Room 119 by the end of homeroom today.  Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.  The complete list of eligible students is hanging up outside Room 119.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s that time of year again!  The 13th annual Celebration of Cultures will be held on April 26.  If you have talent that you would like to share, consider signing up.  We need students who can sing or act in a language other than English, play music of another culture, or perform a dance of another culture.  See Señora Smith in room 203 to sign up today!</p>

<p>Wrestling results from PCL Sectional Tournament:  Freshman Jake Cooper and senior Cole Mars qualified for the District 12 championship to be held at LaSalle High School this Saturday, February 25, starting at 9:30 AM.  Cole finished fourth and Jake finished second in their weight classes.  Jake&#8217;s match went to four overtime periods and was the most exciting match of the championship round.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s that time of year again!  The 13th annual Celebration of Cultures will be held on April 26.  If you have talent that you would like to share, consider signing up.  We need students who can sing or act in a language other than English, play music of another culture, or perform a dance of another culture.  See Señora Smith in room 203 to sign up today!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p> Today starts the &#8220;Shire Food Fight&#8221; @ Wood. Students are collecting non-perishable food to donate to Philabundance. The drive is February 15th, today until March 2 &#8211; not alot of time to fulfill our goal of 25 tons of food! Students are ask to bring donations to the cafeteria in the morning before class.  Students may tap into the local businesses or neighbors. Any student who collects over 100lbs of food will be eligible for a raffle for prom tickets, parking pass, St. Paddy&#8217;s Day Dance, Phillies Tickets. If we win, the top student will get $500 scholarship and there will be a school wide picnic.  This is fun! It is important to remember someone in our community is going to bed hungry tonight. Lets stop that from happening!</p>

<p>For the 11:00 Dismissal on Monday, February 13 &#8211; Sophomore Retreat Day &#8211; the following bus districts will take home at that early time:  Abington, Cheltenham, Lower Moreland, Upper Dublin, Wissahickon, Yellowbird Transportation and the New Hope Van.  All Districts will bring in in the morning and there are no late activities buses for this day. </p>

<p>Make sure to check the Archbishop Wood website to check out all the scholarships that are now available for seniors.</p>
<p> It is not too early to sign up for overall captains for Black or Gold for Viking Night in April. Seniors may sign up for overall captain and underclassmen may sign up for class captain. Signups must be done in the activities office.</p>
<p>The PowderPuff Football Game will be February 10 immediately after school. Senior and Junior Girls may get a permission slip in the activities office. Permission Slips with the fee of $15 are due by January 19th.</p>
<p><strong>Are you a Bucks County resident interested in a career as a registered nurse?  The Certified School Nurses Association of Bucks County awards several scholarships on an annual basis to a senior nursing student who is planning to become a registered nurse.  Applications may be obtained in the guidance office or counseling center.  The deadline for the application is February 24, 2012.</strong></p>
