Prospective Students

Choosing a high school can be a daunting task, but at Archbishop Wood, we look at it as an exciting challenge to begin laying the foundation for your future. In joining the Archbishop Wood family of peers, faculty and alumni, you are dedicating yourself to a lifetime of pride,excellence,values and spirit. Our staff and administration is here to help guide you academically and personally throughout your four years, while helping you stay on track to a successful college career as well. Our student body is comprised of welcoming and warm peers. We would be honored to have you as the newest Viking and have compiled some information to help you get to know our community better!

Viking for a Day Program

We would love to host your current 8th, 9th, or 10th grade sons and daughters. At least three days’ notice is needed to set up a shadow day. We would be happy to set your day up with a friend, cousin, or someone who has the same interests as your child. Viking guests wear their uniform, or dress business casual (no shorts allowed), and lunch is provided for the day. Drop off is 7:45 a.m. and pick up is 1:30 p.m. Shadowing will begin on September 25, 2017.  Due to activities going on at Archbishop Wood, we are unable to host students on  September 28, 29; October 11, 31; November 1, 22, 23, 24, 27; December 8, 14, 15, 21, 22 – 31, 2017.  After the holiday break, shadowing will resume on January 8, 2018

Sunday, October 22, 2017 ~ 10:00 Mass followed by tours, meet the teachers, and activities fair

Academic Scholarship Exam

Saturday, October 28 ~ 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Saturday, November 4 ~ 8:30 a.m – 11:30 a.m.

Monday, November 6 ~ 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Registration will begin the week of July 17 and will be available online.

The Neumann Scholarship Exam is set for Sunday, October 1, 2017.  For information, please contact your principal.
