School Newspaper Archives

Archbishop Wood is pleased to make available this special collection of student newspapers for the benefit and enjoyment of students, alumni, and friends. Over the course of more than 50 years, Archbishop Wood has welcomed generations of students who each contribute their own pages to the history of the school. This collection of student newspapers presents a unique opportunity to rediscover and reminisce by encountering some of the literal pages that tell the history of the place.

This collection comprises all student newspapers known to have been published between the opening of the school and the transition to digital publishing in recent years. If you have an issue not represented here, please consider reaching out to the Director of Alumni Relations to have it included here.

Acknowledgement and thanks is owed to those who made this student newspaper archive a reality, including Marion and Tom Shakely, Robert and Eric Snyder, Fr. David Friel, and Charles Kleinschmidt. Their efforts have preserved part of the legacy of the institution for the benefit of future generations.
