Academic Support

The Saint Joseph Center for Learning Support is named after two reverent saints- St. Joseph, the foster father of Jesus and St. Joseph of Cupertino.
St. Joseph, the Foster Father of Jesus, embodies the values of patience, dedication, and nurturing care. St. Joseph of Cupertino deeply resonates with those who struggle academically, serving as a powerful reminder that each student's unique journey is valuable and worthy of support.
Students with documented learning disabilities and a current psychoeducational evaluation or 504 plan are encouraged to be part of Archbishop Wood's St. Joseph Program.

"In grade school, my daughter felt that her learning disabilities completely defined her as a person. Coming to Archbishop Wood and receiving the support she needed from the faculty and staff helped her over come her struggles and discover her abilities!"- Jude Bell ( AWHS Parent)
