Freshman Seminar is a foundational course designed to support students as they transition into high school and begin a journey of personal growth and self-discovery.

Household Engineering and Technology is a hands-on, project-based course designed for motivated students who enjoy problem-solving and practical application of real-world skills.

The Music Theory/Piano Lab course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive foundation in music literacy and performance.

This is a cross curricular course that will combine components of literature and visual art.

Art III is an upper-level course designed for the student who wishes to further develop skills and techniques that were introduced in previous drawing and painting courses.

Art II is a second-year course that provides an opportunity for students to expand and refine techniques on the drawing and painting concepts introduced in Art I.

Art: Students will study the elements of art observing and learning to see basic elements in art. They will study the art of the Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Middle Ages and Renaissance. They will use their knowledge in hands on projects in perspective, cartooning, color design, graphics design and portraiture. Music: Students will study the elements of music observing and learning the basic elements in music and the basic techniques of playing piano. They will use their knowledge in hands-on projects in note and rhythm reading.

Students explore the business disciplines of entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, accounting, and management through real-world business applications, case studies, and project-based learning.

This course introduces students to the central ideas of computing and computer science, ideas and practices of computational thinking, and applications of computer science that have changed our world.

The world of real estate offers many exciting careers and opportunities for the informed, prepared, and professionally mentored students.

Adobe is an application used to perform graphic design, animation, video-editing, publishing, and Web development.

Marketing provides the bridge between business and consumers. The goal of the course is to open the students’ eyes to the world of marketing and become educated decision-makers

This semester course equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed financial decisions.

The AP Spanish Language and Culture course emphasizes communication (understanding and being understood by others) by applying interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational skills in real-life situations.

This course, Spanish for Healthcare/Spanish for the Hospitality, equips learners with essential language skills to communicate effectively in healthcare and hospitality settings.

Spanish IV carries the student further in his/her development of the four basic skills while deepening his/her insights into Hispanic culture.

This course further develops the students’ facility in speaking French.

The Health Awareness Program is designed to give the student an in-depth understanding of the areas that make up our total health (physical, mental, emotional, social, vocational, and spiritual) to promote positive health decisions over the course of their lifetime.

Step into the world of crime scene investigation and see how science helps solve mysteries! In this hands-on course, students apply biology, chemistry, anatomy, and physics to real-world forensic problems.

This course explores the structure and function of the human body, from cells and tissues to major organ systems, while examining how environmental factors influence health.

This course explores the evolution, diversity, anatomy, and physiology of invertebrate and vertebrate animals within the Kingdom Animalia.

This advanced course reviews the concepts of calculus, emphasizing and extending introductory topics in differentiation and integration.

This course is a more in-depth approach to the topics covered in Honors Level Calculus. All students electing to take this course will be required to take the Advanced Placement Calculus Examination in May.

This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts of statistics including sampling, collecting, analyzing, and drawing conclusions. Also, the course examines frequency distributions, correlation and regression, probability theory and distributions, sampling distributions, estimation, and hypothesis testing.

This course follows an application-oriented approach to explore functions including trigonometry. This course is intended for those students whose mathematical background is not strong but need trigonometry for science courses or plans after high school.

This course emphasizes the study of functions and limits, the derivative and its applications, integration, applications of the definite integral, transcendental functions, methods of integration and a study of plane and analytic geometry using calculus.

This course is a more in-depth approach to the topics covered in Honors Level Precalculus. In AP Precalculus, students explore everyday situations using mathematical tools and lenses.

Success in college level mathematics courses begins with a firm understanding of algebraic and trigonometric concepts which are the focus of this course.

Based on the Common Core Standards, students enrolled in Geometry will experiment with transformations in the plane, will prove geometric theorems, and will make geometric constructions.

Based on the Common Core Standards, students enrolled in Algebra 1 will examine structure in equations and will create equations that describe numbers or relationships.

Designed to reinforce prerequisite skills for the study of Algebra I and support introduced skills in Algebra I, this course is basic foundation reinforcement.

American Government & Politics is a comprehensive examination of the characteristics of the American Government system.

The AP World History Course is structured around the investigation of four different chronological periods, from approximately 1200 C.E. to present.

World History is the study of major world civilizations and is designed to explore the development of the modern global community and the spread of ideologies and cultures.

This course is open only to selected students (Seniors) and is designed for students who wish to earn college credits in English while still in secondary school.

The course is designed for students who are interested in studying and writing using various rhetorical strategies and devices in preparation for effective literature and writing courses in college.

This course is open only to selected students (Sophomores) and is designed for students who wish to develop advanced academic reading, writing, research, and presentation skills in preparation for rigorous college-level coursework.

This contemporary fiction course explores diverse literary forms, focusing on works from the
21st century. 

Students will pursue an in-depth study of short stories, poetry, drama, and other forms of creative writing.

The Film Studies elective asks students to view a variety of films as a form of literature. Students will learn the vocabulary of film production to analyze different aspects of the films' cinematic and theatrical elements.

English Language Arts IV is a required course for all twelfth-grade students. Based on the National Common Core Standards, this course provides students with the skills and knowledge to become advanced critical readers and writers by analyzing multiple themes, interpretations, and details, craft and structure, and the integration of knowledge and ideas in literature and informational text.

English Language Arts III is a required course for all eleventh-grade students. Based on the National Common Core Standards, this course provides students with the skills and knowledge to become critical readers and writers by analyzing key ideas and details, craft and structure, and the integration of knowledge and ideas in literature and informational text.

English Language Arts II is a required course for all tenth-grade students. It provides students with the skills and knowledge to become advanced critical readers and writers by analyzing key ideas and details, craft and structure, and the integration of knowledge and ideas in literature and informational text.
