College & Career PlanningThrough a comprehensive college and career readiness program, students are equipped to confidently plan for life after graduation. Using tools such as Naviance, individualized counseling, and structured programming, students explore their interests, build their resumes, and prepare for success in college, the workforce, or beyond.
Learning Support (St. Joseph Program)The St. Joseph Program provides individualized academic support for students with diverse learning needs. Through tailored strategies, small-group testing environments, executive functioning support, and ongoing progress monitoring, we empower students to build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their full potential.
Physical Wellness and ActivitiesWe promote lifelong health and wellness through a wide range of athletic programs, physical education classes, and fitness opportunities. Students are encouraged to stay active, develop teamwork skills, and build habits that support both physical and mental well-being.
Health Services (School Nurse)Our Health Services office, led by a certified school nurse, ensures that students’ medical needs are met during the school day. From managing chronic conditions to addressing immediate health concerns, we provide attentive care in a safe and supportive environment so students can focus on learning.
Peer & Faculty Support SystemsAt Archbishop Wood, every student is known and supported. Strong relationships with teachers, administrators, and peers create a network of care that fosters belonging and accountability. Through mentoring, check-ins, and daily interactions, students are encouraged, challenged, and supported as members of a close-knit community. In addition, peer and faculty tutoring opportunities provide targeted academic support, giving students access to extra help, reinforcement of key skills, and the confidence to succeed in the classroom.
Spiritual Wellness and FormationRooted in our Catholic faith, we recognize that true wellness includes the spiritual life. Through prayer, retreats, liturgy, and service, students are invited to deepen their relationship with God and grow in faith. This foundation helps guide their decisions, shape their character, and provide a sense of purpose.
