Archbishop Wood’s 2nd Annual Fall Fest Brings the Community Together

There is something special about fall at Archbishop Wood. The crisp air, the excitement of a new school year, the energy of Viking athletics and the familiar sight of students, families, alumni and friends coming together to celebrate their school community.
This October, that Viking spirit will take center stage at Archbishop Wood High School’s 2nd Annual Fall Fest, returning Saturday, October 3, from 2:00–6:00 p.m.
The entertainment lineup will keep the afternoon moving. Country Mile will perform from 2:00–5:00 p.m., “Countryfied” Party Band playing a great mix of Country, Rock, and Good Time Party tunes! . Guests will also enjoy Irish music by Bill Monahan, inside our auditorium adding another layer of music and tradition to the afternoon.
For families with children, the Fall Fest Children's Area will be the place to be.
The Archbishop Wood Performing Arts program will host pumpkin painting, giving young guests the opportunity to choose a pumpkin and create their own fall masterpiece. Bouncy houses and games will add even more excitement, while several Archbishop Wood teams and student organizations will host interactive activities throughout the afternoon.
The Flag Football team will challenge guests to test their skills in a Quarterback Throw Challenge. The Swim Team will bring some friendly competition to the event with Rubber Ducky Races, while the Wackies will keep guests refreshed with their lemonade sales.
