All current 9^th, 10^th and 11^th grade students attending Archbishop Wood High School are eligible for the Hirschmann Family Scholarship. This is a $1,200.00 grant which will be applied to the 2022-2023 school year tuition. At the discretion of the Board, this scholarship may be continued for each winner’s subsequent years at Wood. The Hirschmann Board will select the scholarship recipient.

Qualifications:

1. Membership in at least one school team, club or activity

2. Solid academic achievement

3. Satisfactory discipline record

4. Financial need

All applicants MUST apply to FACTS from October 1, 2021 - November 19, 2021.

Requirements:

Applicants must be nominated by another student or adult member of the Wood community via a letter of recommendation. The letter of recommendation will be used by the Board as part of the student’s application.

This form requires four short essay responses.

1. What is the achievement or skill that you are most proud?

2. What contribution do you hope to make to Archbishop Wood?

3. List your activities, hobbies, work experience, community involvement, and any other information you want the Board to consider.
