From the athletic office
Attention Vikings!! Archbishop Wood is proud to partner again with "The 6th Man Project" and "Friends of Beast" in a joint effort to collect new or gently used basketballs to donate to those in need in our local youth communities! We are asking, if possible, to bring a new or gently used basketball to the athletic office or to the boys' basketball game on Friday, February 7th at home against La Salle! Any help would be great and we thank you for your continued support! Any questions, please contact Mr. Haas in the athletic office!
Maybe you have a writing assignment that’s due soon, or a college essay you need to finish up. Why not stop by the Learning Commons today during lunch periods 3, 4, and 5 to get some help with your writing? Mr. Velten, a retired ELA teacher, will be in the Learning Commons on Tuesdays and Thursdays to give you the help you need. So bring that paper or essay in, and we’ll help you to improve your sentences, make your thesis more clear, and brush up those spelling and punctuation problems!
Again, for help with ELA or writing for any of your subjects, stop by the Learning Commons today during periods 3 through 7 and see Mr. Velten for writing help. Oh, and one more thing . . . Mr. Velten is also in the Learning Commons every day from 3 to 5 PM. So if you’re waiting for practice to start, or you’re killing time until the late bus comes, or if you just don’t want to go home right away, then stop by for some writing help.
Some aquatic mammals at the zoo escaped. It was otter chaos.
