Tuesday February 25, 2020 - A Bell, Day 2
Happy Birthday today to:
Erin Coughlin & Anna Esbensen
Congratulations to Cara Cashman for her fine performance in yesterday's regional Shakespeare Competition at the Arden Theater in Philadelphia.
After a tough first-round of competition, Cara went on to compete in the afternoon with a cold reading of a passage from Shakespeare’s Antony and Cleopatra.
She didn't win this year’s competition, but thank you, Cara, for a fine performance and for representing Archbishop Wood so well!
There will be a brief five minute HOSA meeting every day this week for the HOSA convention team in lab room 322 immediately after announcements during homeroom.

Good writing is hard work! If you’ve got a writing assignment for one of your classes, and you’re struggling with it, stop by the Learning Commons today and every Tuesday and Thursday for some help! Mr. Velten, a retired English teacher, can help you raise that writing to the next level, maybe for a higher grade.
Once again, for help with your writing, stop by the Learning Commons today during your lunch period.
I was out to eat with my family and my waiter said “I see your glass is empty, would you like another one?”
I couldn’t understand why she thought I’d want two empty glasses!
