Community Service Corps
There will be a brief meeting on Thursday 11/11 for anyone interested in the CSC immediately after school in Room 311

Blood Drive
Final sign up for the November 16, 2021 HOSA Red Cross Blood Drive in the North Gym is occurring at all lunches now. If you are 17 or 18 years old or older, you do not need parental permission to donate blood. If you are 16 years old you can sign up, but you have to get a parental permission form signed

Mock Trial
The Mock Trial team is still looking for more members. Ever picture yourself wowing a judge and jury as a lawyer? Want to practice your character acting skills? Why not try out Mock Trial? Our team competes with other high schools in the area acting out a trial. Whether you dream of a career in law or you just really enjoy court scenes in movies, Mock Trial could be the fit for you! If you have questions, see Mr. Donovan in room 307 or email him at wdonovan@archwood.org. We're sure you won't have an OBJECTION to this great time!

INK Magazine
Do you think you’re funny? Goofy, perhaps? Do you want to win a prize for your writing and/or art piece? Ink magazine is hosting a comedy contest where you can submit any comedic short story, art piece, sketch, video, poem, or any other medium. This is NOT limited to just writing. There will be a definite prize that is yet to be determined. Submissions will end on November 19 so be sure to submit soon!
You can share your work to ink@archwood.org This will INK-stantly bring you good fortune.

Boys Soccer Fundraiser

Who doesn’t love Chipotle? Well, TONIGHT, from 5-9PM you can have some of your favorite food while also supporting our boys soccer team! This fundraiser is taking place at the Warminster location at 25 West Street Road. Be sure to mention the team when you make your order so the team gets the credit. Speaking of Boys Soccer… 

Last night, they won their State playoff game against Fleetwood high school. The victory featured goals by Enzo Petruzzelli and Logan Savage. Celebrate this playoff victory at Chipotle tonight!

Winter Sport Registrations
Winter Sports Season Starts Friday, November 19, 2021
Tryouts for any student interested in participating in a Winter Sport will be held starting Friday, November 19, 2021 for the following sports:  girls basketball, boys basketball, bocce, bowling, indoor track and field, swimming, and wrestling. 
Before coming to a tryout, your parent or guardian must complete the online registration process via the FamilyID platform. This must be done before the start of tryouts on November 19th. Only students who have registered on FamilyID, and whose registration is approved by the Athletic Office, will be permitted to try out for a sport. Any questions, stop by the Athletic Office, Room 126.

Girls Basketball
Tryouts for Girls Basketball will be held on Nov 19th from 3-5PM, Nov 20th 9-11AM, and Nov 21st 12-2PM in the South Gym. In order to try out, you must be registered on FamilyID and have uploaded your completed physical exam paperwork. Email Coach McDonald with any questions at woodgirlsbball@gmail.com.

We don’t know how the other three playoff games went last night because no one sent us the information.
So, Field Hockey, Girls Volleyball, and Girls Soccer, we hope you did well.
