Happy Birthday today to:

Question of the Week

Congratulations to our very own anchor, Marina Glik. You are our question of the week winner.
Please come to room 101, the activities office to claim your Wawa hoagie prize coupon.

From the Guidance Department:

Attention Seniors: Mrs. Lynch, Director of Guidance, sent all of you an email regarding your plans after graduation. It’s imperative that you complete this form sooner rather than later. The form is due by 4/13

Employment Opportunity!

Peddler's Village (located near New Hope, PA) will be at Archbishop Wood on Monday, April 25th to interview students for employment!  Students who are interested should use the link that was sent to your email to sign up and a time-slot will be assigned to you (most likely during your lunch or study hall period).  Students will interview with a representative from Peddler's Village in the College and Career Center Conference Room. This interview will serve as a preliminary interview--shortly following the interview, students will be contacted and told if they are invited to a second interview.  This is a great opportunity for our students to find part-time employment and to practice the interview process! Please note:  Parental permission must be given before a student can interview.  Dr. Nobles will email all parents for consent.  Again, use the SignUpGenius link from your email. Sign up closes on Sunday 4/24 at 8PM. Click Here to Sign up!

In other news…

Why is a stuck elevator better than a bad relationship?

At least the stuck elevator is never gonna let you down!

Prom Tickets

Attention Juniors and Seniors: Prom tickets are on sale in the business office, room 245, all week.
Please come up during your lunch period to purchase your tickets and be sure your permission form has been turned in.

HOSA Blood Drive:

Sign up to donate blood to the Red Cross on Monday, April 11, 2022. There is a critical need for blood and your donation can save a life. See Dr. Halloran in room 320 to get a spot. Make sure you have a good breakfast at home before giving blood and get a good night's sleep the night before donating.

Volleyball Tournament

Please join us for the annual Vikingthon volleyball tournament! All proceeds will go to help fun pediatric cancer research. The tournament will be Tuesday April 12th from 6-10pm. Teams must have at least 6 members and only two Wood volleyball team players may be on a team. Teams are encouraged to have a name and a theme. The cost is $10 per player and registration forms are due to the Activities office by TOMORROW Wednesday April 6th.

And finally…

“T-shirt” is actually short for “Tyrannosaurus shirt.” You know… because of the small arms!
