Dear Alumni and Friends,
The 2023-24 school year began with excitement as we introduced our newly upgraded Business, Computers & Information Technology Center (BCIT) along with welcoming 213 Freshmen to Archbishop Wood High School. Among them are 3 Neumann Scholars, and 6 Josephine Connelly Scholars. These students represent 51 elementary schools and reflect our growth in attracting students from our surrounding communities.
Through the generosity of BLOCS, we received a $100,000.00 grant for the transformation of our Business, Computers & Information Technology Center. This gift, coupled with an additional $40,000. grant from Forbright Bank, enabled us to upgrade the computers, monitors, smartboards, software, and more, while also replacing the flooring, desks, and painting the classrooms.
Your generous support is vital in ensuring our commitment that Archbishop Wood students can afford a quality Catholic Education that prepares them for their future educational and professional careers. Our continued efforts to ensure that Archbishop Wood remains a viable academic institution in a highly competitive market is a direct result of your generosity and commitment.
Gratefully,
Gary Zimmaro
President
