Wednesday January 3, 2019 - A Bell, Day 2

One more reminder about today’s Shakespeare Contest Information Meeting!

All students are invited to participate in the Shakespeare Competition here at Wood! Students who participate are asked to recite from memory a short, tiny, not-too-long, really very short, quite concise, passage of lines from a Shakespeare play.

Get all the information about the contest by coming to a brief, tiny, not-too-long, really very short and concise meeting TODAY, after 8th period in the AUDITORIUM LOBBY.

More information about the contest will be given out and questions will be answered for free by highly trained experts.

Once again, that meeting to learn more about the Shakespeare Competition is TODAY, AFTER SCHOOL, AUDITORIUM LOBBY.

Can’t make today’s meeting?  Stop by Room 303 during the day and talk to Mr. Velten!

To quote the Bard:

Whether we shall meet again, I know not.

Therefore our everlasting farewell take.

Forever and forever, farewell.

If we do meet again, why, we shall smile.

If not, why then, this parting was well made.

And when we meet again, and smile,

It will happen because .....we have met in THE LOBBY AFTER SCHOOL TODAY, my friend!

Varsity Mathletes

The next meet is Monday, January, 7th. We will leave immediately after school from room 127.
Please stop in and pick up practice problems.

From the Ministry Office

Msgr. Bolger will be saying mass today at the 5th period

The permission forms for the March for Life in Washington DC on Jan 18 are available on the table outside of the Ministry office.  We have limited space on the bus so please have your forms in as soon as possible

Interest meeting

There will be an interest meeting in the cafeteria on Friday morning during homeroom for an exciting new organization for female empowerment and mentoring. Please join us for information about events that we have planned so far and to give ideas to help this club grow and keep members committed to its success!

And Finally…

A quick note to aspiring musicians out there… if you suck at playing the trumpet, that’s probably why!
