Application Process

Thank you for your interest in Archbishop Wood High School,
We are excited to hear from you and ask you to please complete an application to learn more!
 
Admissions is an easy three step process, Apply-Accept-Register.  Please know that we are here to help make the admission process as smooth as possible.  In order to register, you must first apply and be accepted. 
 
APPLY - For your convenience, the application is available here.  Within the application we will ask for you to submit/upload a copy of your child’s most recent report card and standardize test result, or complete a Request for Records and submit it to your child’s school.    
 
ACCEPT - After the Admissions team reviews your child's records and if accepted, students will receive an acceptance email/letter. 
 
REGISTER - After you receive your acceptance email/letter, submit your registration payment through the link provided in the email.

Transfer Students and Public School Students 
Transfer students and students coming from public middle schools will need to have an interview with Dr. Katherine Nobles, Assistant Principal for Academics.  This interview is completed in Summer, 2022.  All students must provide up to date transcripts from their current school at their interview.    


Registration Fee (non-refundable) 
$100 Registration fee:  Valid from September 1, 2021 to November 30, 2021
$175 Registration fee : Valid from December 1, 2021 to January 31, 2022
$225 Registration fee : Valid from February 1, 2022 to March 31, 2022
$300 Registration fee : Valid from April 1, 2022 to August 31, 2022

 


"Parents Get to Know Wood" Program

Please join us for this informative program and learn about the admission process, financial aid application, scholarship opportunities, academic programs and much more!  Meet with the administration and students, tour live classes and experience our campus up close.  Please RSVP to Melissa Nolan, Director of Admissions, at  mnolan@archwood.org    Please list the session you would like to attend. 
                                                   

 

8th Grade Academic Scholarship Exam   

The Eighth Grade Scholarship Test is the basis for awarding Archbishop Wood Academic Scholarships.

 
Saturday, October 9th  9:00 am - 11:30 am  
Tuesday,  October 12th 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm 
Saturday, October 16th 9:00 am - 11:30 am

*There will be a Meet and Greet event offered to all parents during the test in our Career and Counseling Center.  This is a great opportunity to meet members of our academic team, board of directors, administration and more.

Fall Open House  
Sunday, October 24th    10:30 am - 12:30pm    
All of the school’s facilities and programs will be available to prospective students and their families. The program will include presentations, demonstrations, and student guided tours.

Personal Tours
All prospective students and families are invited to visit our campus for a personal tour. Please contact the Admissions Office at mnolan@archwood.org if you would like to schedule a visit. 

 

Viking Shadow Program

 
BE A VIKING FOR A DAY !  We would be happy to host your current 8th grade student for a shadow day.  We invite shadows on Tuesdays and Thursdays, a maximum of 3 students per day.  Please complete the Shadow Request form HERE to schedule a day. Viking guests are asked to wear their uniform, or dress in church attire (no shorts or tank tops allowed), and lunch is provided for the day. Drop off is 8:00 a.m. and pick up is 1:30 p.m.
