Message from the President
Welcome to Archbishop Wood High School!
Archbishop Wood High School’s goal is to educate young men and women for life in the future world. We are a school where they can learn and grow in a faith-based surrounding, a place where they can make friends and create memories that will last a lifetime. Archbishop Wood is a place that nurtures the development of young people with a family atmosphere that emphasizes a caring for one another.
Our dedicated administration, faculty, and staff lead the way in the development of the success of all students through academics and extracurricular programs. Archbishop Wood is very proud of our alumni and their successes after they leave our school, among them an Astronaut, a Federal Judge, Doctors, Lawyers, Business Entrepreneurs, an Admiral, Educators, and Religious to name a few, as well as many other various types of employment throughout many communities. We at Archbishop Wood are very proud of our alumni and current students and we as a community continue to “Strive for Excellence” in everything that we do.

Message from the Principal
Dear Viking Parents,
Welcome to Archbishop Wood High School! Our Motto, "Faithfulness Merits the Crown", is the foundation and heartbeat of our school. Each day, our students have the opportunity to shine academically, serve others, and serve God. Remaining faithful to God-given talent and ability is the hallmark of our student body. Each proud Viking embodies an experience of academic encouragement, faith-filled community atmosphere, and activities that promote collaboration and excellence. Our students are educated within a strong culture for learning, and the opportunity to excel!
Please feel free to access our Course Guide. With 12 Advanced Placement Courses, Dual Enrollment, and high interest electives to foster career discernment, we serve the needs of all students. Academically, Archbishop Wood National Merit Scholars, Commended Students, and Semi Finalists exemplify the work ethic and triumph of our efforts. Our wide-ranging extracurricular activities, including our Champion Robotics Team and strong Athletics Program compliment the high school experience. Our newly renovated College and Career Counseling Center provides state of the art technology and in person meeting space for College Representative visits, Instant Decision Days, and one on one sessions with three full time Academic Counselors.
I am blessed to have the opportunity to serve as Principal of Archbishop Wood. As a parent of a proud alumnus, I've experienced Viking Pride. As Principal, I vow to continue a path to growth and excellence.
